Whether a store near you has changed its closing time, a brand is missing from the directory, or you manage a location we list, the way to reach us is the same: one email address, read by the people who maintain the site.
Email Us Directly
We read every message that arrives at this address. There is no contact form on this page on purpose: email lets you attach a photo of a store’s posted hours, forward an official notice, or keep a copy of what you sent — and it means your message reaches us even if a form plugin fails. Report a Wrong Hours Listing
Spotted hours on HoursChecking that don’t match the store near you? Please tell us — but include enough detail for us to verify the change, because we never edit a guide based on an unverified report. A useful correction email contains:
- Store or chain name: the brand exactly as it appears on our site (for example, “Dollar General”).
- City and location: the city and state, plus the street or neighbourhood if you know it — hours differ between locations, so “the one on Main Street” helps enormously.
- The hours our page shows: copy the opening and closing times from the guide you were reading.
- The correct hours: the opening and closing times the location actually keeps, including any different Sunday or holiday times.
- Your source: where the correct hours come from — the brand’s official store page, a photo of the hours sign on the door, an official announcement, or a receipt. A link or photo is ideal.
A clear subject line speeds things up: “Hours correction: [Store] – [City]”. Once we receive your email, we check the new hours against the brand’s official source; if they match, we update the guide and, where the change affects the wider chain, re-check the related locations in the same guide.
Suggest a Brand We Don’t Cover Yet
HoursChecking covers 117 brands and grows steadily. If a store, restaurant, bank or office you use is missing, email us its name (subject: “Brand suggestion: [Name]”) and, if you can, a link to its official store locator. Suggestions from readers directly influence which brands we research next.
Store Managers and Business Owners
If you manage a location listed in one of our guides, you are often the first to know when its hours change — seasonal schedules, holiday exceptions, a new Sunday opening. Email us the updated hours for your location with something that ties you to the store (the official location page is best), and we will verify and update the listing. Please note we list hours for national and regional brands rather than single independent shops.
Privacy Requests

What We Can’t Do
HoursChecking is an independent information directory. We cannot change a store’s actual opening hours, take orders or reservations, resolve complaints about a purchase, or speak for any brand we list — we are not affiliated with them. For orders, refunds, jobs or account questions, please contact the brand directly through its official website; our guides link to each brand’s official site for exactly that reason.
Response Times
We aim to reply to most messages within two to three business days. Corrections take slightly longer than a simple reply because the new hours must be verified against the official source before the guide changes — accuracy matters more to us than speed. During major holiday periods, when hours change fastest, verified corrections are prioritised in the order they arrive. If your message is about a trip you are making today, remember that the brand’s own store locator always carries the very latest times.
